Many of these book clubs are not the stodgy ones of old, however, featuring wine and crackers in a host’s living room. Decizia a fost aprobată în unanimitate de miniştrii de externe din statele UE, au doi participanţi la reuniunea Consiliului UE Afaceri Externe, desfăşurată la Luxemburg. ''Aceasta nu se întâmplă în fiecare zi, dar (acum) UE este pe aceeaşi linie'', a declarat ministrul de externe luxemburghez, Jean Asselborn. Iar acum avem sancţiuni în şapte sectoare economice, începând de la arme şi până la tutun sau îngrăşăminte, adică potasiu'', un important produs de export pentru Belarus, a precizat el. UE va sista astfel importurile anumitor tipuri de potasiu şi de produse petroliere din Belarus, printre care şi motorina. Prin această nouă serie de sancţiuni liderii UE speră să-l facă pe preşedintele Aleksandr Lukaşenko să cedeze şi să părăsească puterea.

Astfel, pentru vizita efectuată de delegația prezidențială la Berlin în perioada 18 – 21 mai 2021, Președinția a cheltuit 64 700 de lei. Președinta R. Moldova, Maia Sandu, a efectuat în zilele de 18 – 21 mai o vizită oficială la Berlin. În prima zi a vizitei, pe 19 mai, Maia Sandu a avut o întrevedere cu președintele Germaniei, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, iar în după amiaza aceleiași zile, președinta Sandu a avut o discuție cu Cancelarul german, Angela Merkel. În cadrul vizitei oficiale la Berlin, președinta R.Moldova a participat la audieri pe subiectul R. Moldova în Comisia parlamentară pentru Afaceri Externe și în Comisia pentru Afaceri Europene.
